Portland Timbers provide roster update ahead of the 2024 MLS season

The Portland Timbers announced their updated roster Thursday ahead of the 2024 season.

The club picked the contract option on forward Nathan Fogaca.

The Timbers declined the contract options on midfielder Bryan Acosta, forward Franck Boli, midfielder Noel Caliskan, forward Diego Guiterrez, defender Eric Miller, forward Jaroslaw Niezgoda and defender Justin Rasmussen. However, the club remains in discussions with free agents Acosta, Miller and goalkeeper David Bingham.

Midfielder Sebastian Blanco is out of contract with the club and is leaving the Timbers after seven seasons.
