Outgoing Oregon State quarterback roasts Beavers teammate for Oregon Ducks scholarship offer

Aidan Chiles may be leaving Oregon State, but you can’t take the Beaver out of the freshman quarterback.

Chiles put his name in the NCAA transfer portal Monday. Chiles has been a hot prospect ever since, with schools talking to him after a freshman season where he showed enormous potential.

On Tuesday, Oregon State cornerback Jermod McCoy entered the portal. Like Chiles, McCoy also finished his first season at Oregon State. He was the only freshman to play all 12 regular season games for the Beavers.

As is often the case, when players get offers, they make a quick post on Twitter (X) and thank the school. McCoy announced Wednesday he had an offer from Oregon with this social media post.

A half-hour later, Chiles responded to McCoy.

Oregon State fans were bummed that Chiles is leaving Corvallis, but as one person commented to Chiles’ blast: “You still have the Beaver spirit.”
