Oregon State has lost six committed high school recruits during the past week as tight end Wyatt Hook and offensive lineman Rustin Young say they’re re-opening their search for a college.

Young, a 6-foot-5, 275-pound offensive tackle prospect from Honolulu, was the highest-rated recruit of OSU’s 2024 class. Hook is a 6-5, 3-star tight end from Cupertino, California.

Hook has a recruiting visit set this weekend at Michigan State, where former Oregon State coach Jonathan Smith now runs the Spartans. Young is set to visit MSU the weekend of Dec. 15-17.
