Oregon football defensive tackle Tevita Pome’e enters transfer portal

An Oregon defensive lineman is transferring.

Tevita Pome’e, a true freshman who played in one game this season, entered the transfer portal on Friday.

A three-star prospect, Pome’e was ranked No. 717 overall and No. 79 among defensive linemen in the class of 2023 in the class of 2023, according to the 247Sports Composite.

On3 first reported Pome’e entered the transfer portal.

Pome’e is the seventh UO scholarship player to enter the portal this week, joining cornerback Trikweze Bridges, safeties Bryan Addison and Daymon David and receivers Ashton Cozart, Josh Delgado and Kris Hutson.
