A man accused of a fatal four-day crime spree who grabbed his wife’s gun and pointed it at Clackamas County sheriff’s deputies during a stand-off that ended the spree has been sentenced to just under seven years in prison.

Brandon Gilpin will remain in custody on a pending murder charge in Multnomah County, where he allegedly shot 41-year-old Torn Saephan in the Eliot neighborhood on Feb. 11.
