A 41-year-old man was arrested following the death of a woman in Oregon City, police said.
Officers arrived in the 13400 block of Squire Drive in Oregon City on Monday afternoon to find the woman dead in a home. They arrested Anthony Wessel, and he was booked into Clackamas County Jail on a possible second-degree murder charge, police said.
Police have not yet released the name of the deceased or provided any details about the circumstances of her death. Police told reporters they believe the suspect and victim knew one another.
An investigation continues, and police ask anyone with information about the case to call the Oregon City Police tip line at 503-905-3505.
