F-15 Eagle fighter jets are set to take off from the Portland Air National Guard Base and fly at 400 mph airspeed over Veterans Day commemorations on Saturday.

The 142nd Wing’s fighter jets are based near Portland International Airport.

“We’re extremely proud of our Pacific Northwest veterans and relish the opportunity to celebrate their service to our country,” 123rd Fighter Squadron Commander Lt. Col. Jonathan Friedman said.

Here is the schedule for the Nov. 11 flights, although weather or other needs could change the plans or cancel them.

10:30 a.m. Portland, Portland Veterans Day Parade

10:45 a.m. Tillamook

11:00 a.m. Salem

11:07 a.m. Estacada

11:12 a.m. Portland, University of Portland

11:15 a.m. Vancouver, Wash.

11:30 a.m. Gig Harbor, Wash.

12:10 a.m. McMinnville

The jets will remain about 1,000 feet above ground as they pass over ceremonies.
