The Portland Trail Blazers lost 110-106 at the Golden Warriors.

Anfernee Simons led the Blazers with 28 points and Shaedon Sharpe scored 25.

Stephen Curry had 31 for the warriors.

Fourth quarter:

- Blazers miss final shot.

- Klay Thompson fouled with 2.2 seconds to go. Makes both free throws. Warriors up 110-106.

- Simons layup for two. 108-106. Curry gets ball, is fouled with 3.4 seconds to go. Not a shooting foul.

- Curry three with 9.2 to go. Warriors up 108-104.

- Green missed a layup. Camara rebound. Turnover. Warriors ball with 24 seconds to go.

- Matisse Thybulle three off an assist from Scoot Henderson. 105-104.

- Kuminga alley-oop dunk off pass from Green. 105-101 with 103 on the clock.

- Sharpe missed the first free throw but made the second. 103-101.

- Camara missed a layup. Curry missed a three. Sharpe draws loose ball foul. Shooting free throws with 1:18 remaining.

- Warriors score. Thompson layup off assist from Green. Up 103-100 with 1:59 to go.

- Kuminga layup. Warriors up 101-100.

- Camara called for an offensive foul in the lane.

- Anfernee Simons to the free-throw line. Makes both. Blazers up 100-99. 3:43 to go.

- Curry scored on a layup. Warriors go up 99-98.

- Draymond Green followed his own miss. 98-97. 4:33 to go.

- Klay Thompson finally made a three. 98-95. He is 1 of 8 on such shots.

- Warriors tied the game at 86-86 and then the Blazers went on a 12-6 run to go up 98-92 with 5:32 to go in the game. Sharpe just scored to reach 25 on the night. Simons has 24.

Third quarter: Blazers 86, Warriors 82

Warriors came to life a bit in the third quarter. They shot 55.6% from the field and went 5 of 8 on threes. Curry, who went 1 of 8 in the first half, scored 17 points in the quarter.

Jabari Walker scored 10 on 5-of-5 shooting. Anfernee Simons scored eight.

- Blazers’ lead was cut to one but now they lead 84-78 with 1:18 to go in the third.

- Warriors went on an 8-0 run. Now trail 77-74.

- Simons hit a three and then Walker scored on a fast break while receiving an assist from Simons. Blazers lead 77-66 with 4:45 remaining in the third.

- Curry hit his second three of the quarter: 70-63.

- Blazers have built a 70-60 lead in the third quarter.

Second quarter: Blazers 55, Warriors 48

The Blazers won the second quarter 29-26 despite shooting just 37% because the Warriors shot only 30.8%.

Stephen Curry has nine points on 1-of-8 shooting from the field and he is 1 of 6 on threes. His points have primarily come from six made free throws on seven attempts.

Shaedon Sharpe leads the Blazers with 14 points. Anfernee Simons has 11 points but is just 4 of 14 from the field.

Blazers shot just 33.3% from the field and 28.6% on threes but lead because the Warriors committed either turnovers that the Blazers converted into 11 points.

Warriors shot 38.9% and went 1 of 6 on threes.

- Simons now has 11 points on 3-of-10 shooting. He has hit 2 of 4 threes.

- Anfernee Simons just hit a bucket to give the Blazers a 20-18 lead. He now has five points.

- Blazers shooting 35.3% from the field and are 3 of 11 on threes.

- Warriors have come back and tied the game at 18-18 with 3:27 to go in the quarter.

- Blazers jump out to a 13-6 lead. Shaedon Sharpe and Duop Reath each have five points. Warriors have committed three turnovers.

The Portland Trail Blazers welcome Anfernee Simons back to the lineup for Wednesday night’s game at the Golden State Warriors.

Simons will appear in his first game since injuring his right thump in the season opener.

That’s the good news.

The bad new is that Deandre Ayton (knee soreness) will join Jerami Grant (concussion protocol) on the bench.

Starting lineup: Simons, Malcolm Brogdon, Shaedon Sharpe, Toumani Camara and Duop Rath.

Warriors: Chris Paul (left lower leg nerve) and Andrew Wiggins (right finger contusion) are probable. Gary Payton II (right calf strain) is out.
