The youngest of six siblings, all athletes, no less, Isaac Carr couldn’t do much to avoid the constant competition.
By second grade, he had adopted the nickname Ikey Buckets because, at a time “most kids couldn’t make layups, he was shooting threes,” said Kendrick Williams, Carr’s AAU coach. Carr had one of the purest push shots of any kid Williams had seen.
